Shohei Ohtani Highlights Archive

WHOOOOA, Ohtani!! He absolutely crushed a 102.6 mph heater from Mueller for a double, and just like that we've got the lead!! The way he laid off that first-pitch slider and then turned around to torch this one — with two outs in the ninth, no less — that kind of focus is just unreal!!

Whoa, he crushed that one — 112.9 mph off the bat is absolutely nasty exit velo! Just an 8-degree launch angle kept it from getting out though, so no runs on this one... but that kind of contact against Chandler still sends a message. Let's go, next batter up, bring him home!

WHOA, that's OUTTA HERE!!! 105.6 mph off the bat, 448 feet — that ball was completely gone the second he made contact! Feltner left a curveball hanging and Ohtani punished it, absolutely no mercy! That erases the strikeout from earlier too — the way he resets and bounces right back is unreal!

WHOOOA!! Another homer from Ohtani, right after the fifth inning too?! 452 feet — that ball was just GONE, and you could tell the second that sweeper caught too much plate! Game's completely put away now!

OHHHH TRIPLE, LET'S GO!!! He fought off two nasty near-swings against a 102 mph fastball, then just crushed the next one — a screaming line drive at -16 degrees launch that somehow still went for 10 feet of distance, which means the exit velo had to be absolutely disgusting to blast through the infield gap like that. Two outs, runner scores, tying it right back up — that's Shohei Ohtani for you!

WOOOOOO!! Ohtani absolutely crushed that first-pitch sinker from Glasnow — 111.7 mph off the bat, sending it 399 feet for a double! What a way to set the tone as the leadoff man, this game's off to a great start!

WHOOOAAA!! Ohtani goes YARD!! Two outs, runner on third, and he flips the whole game with one swing—unreal! Second pitch of the at-bat, a changeup, 112 mph off the bat and 386 feet gone—that ball was absolutely crushed!

OHHHHH, double! Ohtani extends the lead beyond that 3-0 score, you absolute legend!!! Turning a 96.8 mph four-seamer around at 111.2 mph off the bat should honestly be illegal — Dodgers baseball doesn't get any better than this!!!

Had me sweating a little after that strikeout in the first, but of course Ohtani came through — because that's just what he does!
